Working in both emerging and Fortune 20 companies, Peter has been a consistent top performer in roles that demanded results far from the status quo. He began his career marketing computer networks and services for technology companies before transitioning to the telecommunications industry.

Prior to founding Gotham Cloud, Peter was the EVP of Sales and Marketing at Transbeam, Inc, a mid-size telecommunications carrier and IT Managed Service Provider based in New York City. Peter has led the expansion of the company from a small New York-based provider to a nationwide IT Networks and telecom company that was eventually sold to GTT Communications (www.gtt.net) in 2017. During his tenure at Transbeam, Peter has worked with hundreds of enterprise customers to implement state-of-the-art networks around the country and the globe.

Prior to Transbeam, Peter served as Mutualink, Inc.’s CEO (www.mutualink.net). Mutualink is an IP-based multimedia solution that connects wireless and wireline telephone, video and 2-way radio (push-to-talk) networks for public safety agencies. The company pioneered community-wide interoperability for emergency management and has expanded globally since its startup days.

From 1999 to 2006, Peter served as InfoHighway Communications’ SVP of Sales and Marketing. Instrumental in growing annual revenues from $9 million to $105 million, he led the company’s marketing and sales functions including new product development, product management, pricing and distribution, and direct and indirect sales channel management. Peter was also responsible for key regulatory and business development initiatives.

Before joining InfoHighway, Peter was Vice President, Marketing and Product Management for Verizon’s (previously Bell Atlantic Corporation) wholesale division, with revenues of over $1 billion in 1999. Prior to Verizon Wholesale Markets, Peter was the Director of Channel Marketing for Verizon Wireless (formerly NYNEX Mobile Communications), managing its reseller channel and developing channel strategy for the company’s agent, direct, and telemarketing distribution. He grew the wireless customer base from 100,000 to 1 million accounts and increased wholesale revenues from $20 million to $150 million.

David has a unique perspective and an enthusiasm for problem solving and takes ownership of setting clients up for success.

Prior to joining Gotham Cloud, David spent his career in technology and technology-related sales roles. Leaving school at the height of the recession presented a unique set of challenges for career paths. Having been torn between sciences and business, David found himself gravitating towards sales. He joined a start-up company where he was responsible for revenue generation. He was able to get his company featured on a morning news show and from there he was fully engaged in sales and business development.

David went on to join a Xerox subsidiary in New York City and sold copiers to enterprise customers. This was at a time when some areas of Manhattan had been flooded by Hurricane Sandy and many offices were empty. David had to face a unique set of challenges in order to produce results. He discovered he could express his creative side in the business world by developing clever ways to get people to take a fresh look at a commoditized piece of technology.

Over the years, David developed a comprehensive view of technology. Having found success, but not fulfillment, in selling hardware, software, and services, David ended up taking a Director role at an e-waste recycling company based in Queens. He worked on projects with major companies across the manufacturing, software, and financial verticals. He worked with artists who gave e-waste a new purpose, and he worked with a non-profit agency to use e-waste in clever ways as part of an event. He also worked with school systems to set up community recycling days.

David joined Gotham Cloud as a Strategic Account Manager and in this capacity, David works with enterprise companies and their IT leaders to give them more control, insight, and visibility in managing their IT infrastructure.
